What is Blockland Mods?
Blockland Mods is a popular mod for a game called blockland (www.blockland.us). Because of the versatility of the game, many people are able to make mods which improve the mechanics of the game, and add new features. Well rather then installing each mod at a time, searching for the mods, or know which ones will improve your gaming experience, you can download Blockland Mods which is a collection of all the greatest user made mods + several mods of my own all in 1 package.
Blockland mods has something for everybody. People who want to kill each other, people who want to build, or for people who want a little of both. New mods added that people may not want can all be turned off/on via the admin panel (default CTRL + A).
Please feel free to post this mod on your site and/or forum.
What Happened to The old Blockland Mods Website?The guy who was hosting for me is no longer in charge of the domain. I have the website still saved neatly on my computer... just a lack of hosting it. Theres nothing really special to it other then the changes listed on it and some older 1.5 downloads.

hi .. i downloaded the game and i tried to log but i cant i tried again to download it same problem ..
I think no one should take over blm.It's better than TBM just because it was the best mod for Blockland at that time.

I heard about that starwars mod, looks good. However im much to busy with school and work to get back into all the modding and such. Unfortunetly I have school for the next 14 months strait:(

I downloaded the verson, but I dont know how to get it working so i can play it!
Quite frankly ur mod sucked, i installed it and i can run blockland full to the point when i am in a server and press any button on the keyboard, at that time the game dies in the arse. It has killed my blockland as it was not this way beforehand. If somebody is going to take over the project please fix this problem for the next version.
I keep trying to join servers but this thing does not work.

Theres nothing wrong with the mod. Its your crappy computer. Runs great on my comp, my laptop, and 3000 school computers lol.
First make sure you have winrar installed (get it at http://rarsoft.com/download.htm). Then, to run BL Mods, just download
"Blockland Mods v1.6a (full game)"
and open the .exe. This will auto extract it for you into a directory you specify. Then just browse to that directory and double click blockLand.exe to run the game
Also, You cant join servers and expect the mod to work unless you join a BLM 1.6a server. So host your own server, or make sure your friends are running this too if you join their servers with it.
If you want to make your own mods, that can be done by editing the script files of the game. I put together all these mods and added several of my own without evening knowing any programing at all. Of course I learned alot as I worked on it and by looking how previous examples where done, I figured stuff out. Today I now know C++ (which is what these script files are based on basically), and could probably create a big mod-pack like out today. But im still not going to heh. So If you want to make modes for this game, you should visit garagegames.com and read up everything there is to know about the Torque engine. Its very easy and versitile. If I was ever going to make my own game, I would deffenitly start it by making it with the Torque engine.

I doubt you will get back to me on this, but can you tell me how to use weapons using 'ctrl+w'? it always says this weapon is disabled, even if I can use it through the inventory select.

To be honest, its hard for me to remember. It was 4 years ago or something I worked on this lol.
I think weapons are disabled by default. Even if you open a weapon from the weapon menu, you cant fire it because of protection. I think theres an option somewhere in the admin options to enable weapon usage. CTRL + A for that menu I think. Sorry if im wrong, but This is all based off memory.
